I've had it installed on Macs, PCs, and on OS X and Windows on my MBP, and I've never seen a "go pro" splash screen, or had any error messages in either OS. dunno what to tell you.

Its not hard to switch what apps are the default for a given format.

On your computer: (In XP Pro anyway)
My computer ->Tools -> Folder Options ->File Types tab -> Find the .mov extension, single click it. It will display what program currently opens that file. Click change. Change it to vlc.

In firefox:
Tools -> Options -> Applications tab. You get the idea.

I movie hopped to see this after seeing Zombieland.

This was hands down one of the worst piece of shit melodramatic bullshit filled idiotic retarded creepy depressing shitastic movies ever put into production.

The only part of the movie that didn't make me want to fucking vomit in my own popcorn bag and drowned myself in it was when the little fucking brat stood on top of the dining room table and said "FEED ME WOMAN."
