Firefox streaming video problem

I don't know what the problem is, but its only in firefox. When I play youtube videos in firefox they play 2 seconds and then stop. The videos play fine in ie so im not sure what the problem is but it has to be firefox related. Its a brand new laptop running vista so it might have something to do with vista I suppose. I read something that said some sites (I have no idea if youtube is one of them) wont support firefox unless it pretends to be ie or some shit. I didn't really think that was the problem so I didn't read much more about that but I guess its possible.

Edit: Alright, that seems to have fixed itself, but I cant fullscreen shit in firefox otherwise the screen just goes black. Still works in IE though.

Reboot your computer

control panel -> Program and Features ->

uninstall:

Adobe Flash Player ActiveX
Adobe Flash Player Plugin

Also, download and run Adobe's Shockwave uninstaller just for good measure.

Reboot, reinstall both Flash and Shockwave from adobe.com

This fixed a customer's computer last week, hope it helps.

I have this issue, though if I restart it will work for a while, then stop again. Not a big idea whatever the reason.
