DRM Removal

I've been using Daniusoft WMA DRM Remover for a while now, running fine on XP. However I now need a DRM Remover that will work for Vista 64.

Any suggestions?

I'm assuming you are using this for music; why not just d/l DRM-free tunes to begin with and be done with it?

it's difficult to verify the quality or that it's even the correct song using limewire, etc without actually playing it first

I think the fact that you're using limewire is your primary problem. Even if you're looking for individual songs, you can still go someplace like Waffles.fm or demonoid (if it ever comes back online) and pick and choose individual tracks from an album torrent (utorrent allows this sort of thing). There are plenty of FLAC and other HQ/lossless torrents out there, and I have yet to come across one that doesn't have the album/tracks that it claims to have.

and FYI Vista 64 is setup to prevent DRM removal, this is a result of the new media player and some other thing, don't remember exactly how it works, but i spent hours reading about it because i wanted to get a monthly subscription to the zune service only to rip them off.

how is this working so far?

i'm considering running an XP partition for this sole purpose. does SP3 work or must you keep downgraded to sp2?

also the zune software, isn't there a certain version that you must run or is the newest version okay?

I haven't tried it, but what about running a virtual copy of XP instead of a new partition? I use Sun's VirtualBox for other things and it works great.
